Since its electric Broadway and West End debut in the early 1970’s, GREASE has remained one of the world’s most popular and enduring musicals.

Funny, frank and featuring the hit songs “Greased Lightnin’,” “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” “You’re The One That I Want,” and “Summer Nights,” GREASE follows the journey of Danny and Sandy, alongside the Burger Palace Boys and the Pink Ladies, as they navigate high school to the unforgettable rock n’ roll soundtrack that defined generations.

An entire show cast, rehearsed and performed in just 5 days, with full costume, lighting, set and sound. The Royal Hippodrome’s Trapdoor Theatre School Summer School is a brilliant opportunity for any youngster who is interested in performing to really get to grips with being part of a musical theatre show and follow its creative twists and turns from script to stage. It is a truly intensive, full-on experience for those involved and it is so lovely seeing the children flourish both on and off stage during the week.
