DESCRIPTION:Now a highlight of the Eastbourne theatrical year\, the British Music Hall Society returns for its 10th all-day celebration of the worlds of music hall and variety with Music– Comedy – Song – Guest Speakers – Archive Film Footage \nCome and spend a FUN day and wallow in nostalgia \nMorning includes: Music Hall Memories with Philip Day\, Michelle Grant\, Andy Moore\, Jane Horn and Kevin Gauntlett as Your Worthy Chairman; Edward Thomas in conversation with actress and Carry On and Coronation Street star Amanda Barrie. \nAfternoon includes: Music and song from Carol Anne Wells; Variety and Music Hall Artistes On Film; the celebrated broadcaster\, TV presenter\, actor and author Gyles Brandreth; The Royal (Hippodrome) Variety Show with TV’s ‘one-line joke king’ comedian Tim Vine\, comedy impressionist Hilary O’Neil\, star ventriloquist Steve Hewlett\, hand shadow artist Drew Colby\, comedy showband Triple Cream and the cast of the Hippodrome’s 2026 summer show. \nMore artistes to be announced.
